Elder Macfarlane's Unforgettable Utah Adventures

 December 20, 2021 This is going to be very quick but here we go. Elder Steed (my past comp) left for Africa which is his original assignment. So I had to move in with two others. My new Comp's are really cool! That's right! I have 2 now. Their names are Elder McMullin and Elder Marker. One is really into music (which I love) and one is into basketball (which I also love). So we work well together. We are covering 2 areas so that's double the work, but it's cool. This week has been quick. A lot of packing and a lot of food!  Pictures: 1.  December 13, 2021 Sorry this emails a little long, but a LOT happened. This week was SICK! Ok. I apparently have been HALF DEAF for a long time. Without going into detail, I basically shoved a power washer in my ear. It was kinda cool tbh. After, I literally felt like I had SUPER HEARING!!! People have always said I am a loud person, and I never really understood that, but OH MY GOODNESS! I get it now! My family judged me for how loud I make my headphones and I JUST FOUND OUT WHY THEY THOUGHT THAT. Anyway, that was insane. For reference, the best I can compare how loud things were before is this. When I am 20 yards away from a car (now that I can hear), it sounds just as loud as when I was right next to it before. Crazy moment of the week, sorry if that got a little gross for some people lol. It's just a big moment in my life. We also had a day that we spent with special needs kids, and it was so fun! I love hanging out with them. We helped make Christmas ornaments.  Elder Qu...

 December 6, 2021 What did we do this week... honestly, that would be a good question.  We went to a few ward parties. They were so cool! I am so used to my mom's style of ward parties so it's interesting seeing how others do it. I will always like my mother's ward parties the most! Seeing these ward parties reminds me of my childhood ward parties. So much fun! We also had exchanges this week. That means that I changed companions for most of the day. It was really fun meeting others and learning about other areas more. We also had Costa Vita which might have made it better in my eyes haha.  Sorry that this week's email is so short but as you can tell by the time I am sending this out, I am tired and want to go to bed.  December 6, 2021 I DIDN'T HAVE MUCH TIME TO SEND AN EMAIL LAST WEEK, SO THIS IS MY MAKE UP EMAIL. ANOTHER EMAIL WILL BE SENT LATER TODAY! I have one question for everyone reading this. "Is Jesus your main squeeze?" That's a question I've been thinking about a lot for the last few weeks. Not because it's a thought provoking question or anything, just because THERE IS A GIANT SIGN THAT SAYS THAT IN MY APARTMENT (Picture below). I thought it was so funny when I saw that the first time haha. I am pretty sure it was used for a lemonade stand (which helped me understand what they meant by "main squeeze"). Anyway, I just thought that was funny.  This week was fun! We had Thanksgiving dinner with a nonmember family. They are so nice and have talked to missionaries before, and they enjoy discussing the differences between our religions. The dinner was great! I had 2 full plates of food (which for me is A TON).
