Elder Macfarlane's Unforgettable Utah Adventures

March 21, 2022  Yeah! So transfers are happening! That's kind of cool. I'm staying with my companion in the exact same area so I'm not changing too much but 2 people in my district are leaving so there is still a change there. I love the last transfer and I hope to have another great transfer. I am still the district leader which means very little haha, but I like having that responsibility. I personally like leadership roles. I feel like I can do my best in those positions.  We also found new people to teach!! There are a few potentials in the area, and another that we met for the first time today. She is SO READY to get baptized and has already prayed to know if the Book of Mormon is true (thank you to the missionaries who taught her before <3). March 14, 2022 Hey, yeah. So.... I was in the hospital.  That wasn't to fun haha. I got 3 needles in me.  Mainly for giving me fluids and taking out some blood and stuff. The stabby stabby part wasn't too fun, but the fluids and drugs they put in me felt good (as they should haha, that is quite literally what the stuff they gave me is meant to do). Less pain is always better than more pain. The reason I was there is because they thought I had an appendicitis. AND THAT WOULD BE JUST THE WORST. Luckily I just have a stone in my kidney, so not nearly as bad. (Oh did I also mention I had a big bad virus that made me throw up all my food that day...) That was kinda lame too. All my Paces (a restaurant) gone to waste... sad.  So basically they did scans and blood tests until 3am and then had me go, with some drugs to make me not feel as dead. March 7, 2022 We are so excited for the family of 4 we are teaching!!! They are so excited and ready to get baptized by the proper authority. They are planning on getting baptized on April 30th! I am so excited for them. Another younger girl is getting baptized on the 11th! Heavenly Father is definitely raining his blessings on this area. I just hope to be able to help as many people as I can for my 2 years out. I wish I could share names, but in Utah there are a lot of legal issues and I don't want to mess up a court case in any way. This week we also went to the temple! I really like that place, to say the least. I love that we have the opportunity to go there every transfer (every month and a half). It is a very calming place to be, and I learned more about myself when I was there. Keep growing, and keep trying.  We also had the chance to have our first member meal ever!!! We haven't been allowed to have meals with members of our church since the start of covid. THEY FINALLY...
