First Week in the Field
November 22, 2021
I was told that my emails are very formal and don't sound like me, so I am going to try to write this like I would be texting/talking to someone.
This week was insane! I am done with the training portion of my mission so I took the frontrunner (which is basically a train) to Layton Utah. People make a big deal about this train, but it's just a train.
My new comp is sick. For those that don't know a companion (comp) is the dude you live with for a month and a half (maybe more). Elder Steed is always smiling and I love it. It makes me more positive.
We are living in a member of the churches home, and it is really nice! We have an open living/dining area. Soooo big, soo nice. We have an extra room that Elder Steed is using as a closet lol.
The week was kinda slow to start. We are white washing the area, meaning we are both new to the area, which makes meeting people hard. After we met more members in the area, we are becoming more confident and comfortable in the area.
I am also very tired all the time. Kinda lame.
Summary: The frontrunner is nice but it's just a train. Elder Steed is great! We have such a nice house/apartment. Me and my comp are both new to the area so it's hard. I am tired all the time.
