Transfers and Quarantine!!! Yay.

Yes, you heard that right. I was moves again this week. I have had 4 companions in the 2 months I've been out. Kinda crazy! I am now in Layton. It's crazy how much I've moved around. My new comp is Elder Knudsen and he is fun to be around! Which is good because WE LITERALLY CANT LEAVE THE FREAKING HOUSE NOW. Sooooo...


Many of you have probably heard about the mtc (missionary training center) having a large number of covid cases. Well, people showed up to our mission from there with it and A TON of people now have it. We now can not leave out house for 5 days (only about 2-3 days when I send this out). We will be getting a test to see if we have it, but I am assuming we do. Everyone we have been around has been tested and has covid. I'm doing fine tho. My Comp was KO'd for a day, but he good now. So we have been trying online lessons but it's kinda hard to find new people when we can't leave the house.

So yeah! The week has been good. I met a lot of new people that I love! They are so sick! Also they are sick, now that we all have covid. Fun fun fun. 

UPDATE: Is Monday now and we just got tested. You gotta love getting a stick shoved up your nose for 10 seconds. Guess what? I don't have covid!! Also my comp does so I have to isolate ANYWAY!!! YAYYYYYY. 


Summary: I was transferred again. I'm isolated until some day that the mission President decides. I don't have covid but my comp does.

 July 24, 2023 *my mother exclaimed her feelings on the brief nature of my emails a fortnight ago, so I have decided to proclaim my story how it should be! Overly dramatic for No reason!! (and I'm low key board so I thought this could be fun). Our hero starts off this week in a gloomy, dangerous area knocking door, after door, after door, in search for "the elect".  November 3, 2021 Corry and I took Eric to the Colorado Springs airport early in the morning. Some sweet missionaries took our picture when we got inside. They immediately saw us and came up to shake Eric's hand. There's a brotherhood in being a missionary. You stick together and take care of one another. I love that. Eric flew to Salt Lake City, Utah where his cousin, Mariah, picked him up from the airport. She took him back to her house where Aunt Stacey was waiting for him. Mariah and Stacey took him out to Cafe Rio before they took him to BYU where he got to say goodbye to a few of his friends. Then they dropped him off at the MTC! I'm going to miss this kid! I'm proud of him for making this decision to serve. I know he's going to do great things in the two years that he serves the Lord in the Utah Layton Mission.

I'm not dead

April 17, 2023 A lot has happened, as you can imagine. Everything has been super busy and the mission has been great! Elder Eggett got transferred to Farmington and my new companion was Elder Goodwin! He is a great guy. Now I'm with Elder Owens. Also a great guy! We have been able to find so many people to teach, it's great! We are constantly teaching or finding. Elder Goodwin was a great companion. We covered 3 stakes (or 28 congregations), and it was a lot of fun. Now that I'm with Elder Owens we are back to 2 stakes (20 congratulations), and we are busy. We found this great family who went to church with us this weekend!!! We are so happy for them. Many others are close to baptism as well, and we hope they can make that step soon. I have been in the same place for 7 months now, which is unusual for a missionary, but I love it! I'm surprised I'm still here, but I know it's where God needs me to be I read through the New Testament last month and now I'm goi...
